In-n-out Burger - San Diego

I’ve heard so much about this California classic, and it certainly lived up to the hype! The double-double paired with animal fries is a winning combination. You can't go wrong!

This was my third visit to an In-N-Out, and it was significantly better than the previous two experiences. I ordered an Animal Style Double-Double, fries, and a chocolate shake. The staff were friendly and surprisingly quick, especially considering how busy it was. The French fries were just average, while my burger was tasty, although the patties were a bit overcooked. The shake was enjoyable as well. Overall, it's tough to beat the value for the price you pay.

This place is fantastic! My kids, one from Denver and the other from DC, had heard about this burger chain, so we decided to stop by while passing through. The service at this San Diego location was excellent, and the burgers were really tasty at a reasonable price. Comparing it to the Five Guys I visited in Virginia, everything here was much better. Maybe In-N-Out offers better salaries because the staff were so friendly and appeared to genuinely enjoy their jobs. They even provided lemon slices for our drinks—just a small detail that made a difference!

I'm no in n out cultists. I enjoy the burgers for sure. The fries I can totally take a pass on. Sure they are fresh, but they are just not that flavourful. Guess preservatives and chemicals go a long way. Double double animal style no tomato is how I do it. Pretty good value for the food as well and everyone won't agree with me on the fries so go get you some and know for yourself.
