The restaurant is spacious, featuring a large outdoor terrace, a playground, and even an antique McCormick Farm tractor—such a unique touch! They offer generous portions, a variety of menu options, and reasonable prices (considering it’s La Jolla). I particularly enjoyed the breakfast burrito (without the tortilla) paired with a smoothie. Normally, I would have opted for a Bloody Mary, but there were kids around.
We had made about 10 reservations for a party of 16, and we ended up all sitting together at one table, while two of our friends were at another table. After about two hours, we were asked to leave our table for a different party, so we spent the remaining two hours hanging out in chairs on the grass. The atmosphere was lovely, with ample shade and a great vibe. For the meal, I was torn between the Lobster Benedict ($32) and the Short Rib Benedict ($29). The prices here lean toward the higher side, and since I didn’t want to spend that much on lobster, I opted for the Short Rib. You could choose between fries, potatoes, or greens as a side, and I chose the greens. However, our server didn’t check with everyone, so some of us ended up with fries as the default; they were switched to greens only once they arrived at the table. For my drink, I had the Lychee Rum, which was sweet and fruity with a nice kick, especially on an empty stomach. Just a heads-up: they don’t split bills and automatically add a 20% tip, so it’s wise to bring cash or use Venmo to settle up with each other. Overall, this place is a fantastic spot, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere!
The best spot for brunch! I absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the location couldn't be better. I will definitely return every time I'm in San Diego. It's a must-visit! Just be aware that it can get crowded, so making a reservation is recommended.
We enjoyed a delicious Saturday brunch in this beautiful place. comfortable modern atmosphere. the food was fresh and delicious.
Super tasty food. The portions weren’t huge, but they were filling and very well seasoned. Lovely location, quiet, peaceful.
