Epic Wings - San Diego

We arrived at 9:20 a.m., just 40 minutes before closing time at 10 a.m., but the staff informed us that we couldn’t sit down to eat. Not the greatest service.

I was a bit taken aback when I stepped inside and found the place packed. It was Friday night, so that made sense. The process of ordering at the counter and then finding a seat felt a bit unusual, and the menu seemed somewhat limited, leaving me uncertain about what to expect. We decided to try the 24-pack of traditional wings with flavors of hot, lemon pepper, and spicy chili. The wings were cooked perfectly, offering just the right mix of crispy and tender, and I was particularly impressed with the spicy chili sauce—it was delicious. The meal also included a generous portion of breadsticks, carrots, celery, and blue cheese dressing. The crowd was clearly a testament to how great this place is for dining. The staff was friendly, and the establishment was clean and well-organized. I think most people will really enjoy it!

The wings were neither the best nor the worst I’ve had. There were too few flavor options compared to others.

I grew up with this restaurant and came here for the last 14 years. eating was consistently delicious and I always enjoyed coming here.

Gotta love Epic Wings! They're always fresh and so tasty. I recommend the strips with mild and lemon pepper.
