Gasthaus Saalachstubn - Salzburg

Excellent local food and drinks. Must be over and enjoy. Very friendly staff and beautiful view of the outdoor terrace. The service was great. You feel like home. Don't be disappointed.

Wonderful local restaurant. Fresh and local ingredients from the area some right around the corner. A family restaurant that treats you as such. My husband and I can only speak English and the staff was very helpful with our culinary experience.

We had dinner at Gasthaus Saalachustuban last night and we were very impressed by our whole dining experience. The young lady who served us was very helpful and made a huge effort to make our experience a enjoyable and memorable one. The food was absolutely...delicious and the service very good. We felt very welcome and thougoughly enjoyed our evening. I would highly recommend this resturant to anybody else staying in the area.

Nice pub in a close western Salzburg suburb. Pub food to be sure but well-prepared. Not much English spoken but friendly relaxed atmosphere. Good but not fancy choice.

We stayed in Wals for a long weekend close to Salzburg. Our hotel didn't serve evening meals and so we hunted for a nice Austrian meal. We were not disappointed!! My husband had the cordon bleu which he really enjoyed. I had the chicken dish in the picture which I really loved also. We had a lovely waitress who translated the menu for us to help make our selection. Would highly recommend the restaurant at this guesthouse!!
