The Tree House Cafe

Nice ambiance and decent food, prices are high but of course this is Saltspring island!

This place is a must try! The ambiance, food and service make it special. They accommodated my dietary restrictions and also my request to add halloumi to my order (trust me, the halloumi is the best you can find).

It's such a cute and unique restaurant.The restaurant itself is built around a tree and can seat more people than you would initially think. They have indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit outside be prepared for a collection of sparrows asking for your bread and crackers. They are super cute . The staff are warm and friendly. When asking for the vegan options they were helpful and understanding. The timing of everything was quick, but not rushed. We both ordered the Tofu Scramble for breakfast. It was the only real option we could order and have it made vegan. They subbed the hash browns for your choice of spiced beans or greens. We opted for the spiced beans which were incredibly tasty. The tofu scramble was quite flavorful without adding the beans or salsa that comes with the meal. And the jam was so tasty, I thought about drinking it. The toast slices were thick too. I enjoyed everything. It was a delicious health breakfast. It's found right in the heart of the island and such a wonderful treat. It'd recommend trying the place at least once

Absolutely LOVE this place. It was recommended and I almost skipped it because there was a long wait but I am so glad I hangryly waited. The restaurant is really small so there only so many tables. They are short staffed but everyone that worked there was so nice and tried to get things going as fast as they could. The interior is awesome with a big tree in the centre. The food...yummm. I had a hard time choosing what to order and so glad I chose the treehouse deluxe burger with their daily soup. It was a lot and I was only able to finish half the burger, saved the other half for later ; Definitely will come back every time I'm in salt spring island!

Such a unique little cafe with great lattes and breakfast. We were there early due to a ferry at Long Harbour and honestly this place was the only one open at 8am so we came here and glad we did. They have patio seating outside close to the marina. Sign said they have live music as well!! We had the BELT. Bacon was cooked perfectly (yes that's important! Nothing worse than undercooked bacon) This bacon was slightly crunchy but not overdone, and the bread was so fresh! Service was also very good!!
