I wish they had more choices.
This place was delicious, but much too expensive! and the wings were pathetic small. 24 wings and nothing else was $45 and all wings were over the size in my picture. I would rate it 5 stars if the wings were a normal size.
For years wingkoop has been my favorite flying place in ut, and I think I've tried them all. since the Kovid shutdown they were not the same, wings have small show with the best of any flesh (see picture comparison) and prices have dried sky. we paid almost 40 for 16 wings a frit and drink. we have left starving. they also charge 1.15 for extra sauce and often double fee they pay for 2 if they order 1. they still have the best sauces, which is why they get the extrastar here. Habanero and the tatanka are delicious!
The quality is really going downhill. Their wings are definitely smaller than anywhere else but we like their sauces and we've always gotten a couple of extra wings in our orders but tonight the wings were smaller than ever. It was difficult to get any meat off of a wing and all 6 were the tiny little part of the wing not even one of the pieces that looks like a little leg that has at least some meat on it. To pay over $12 with the tip for no tood is more than disappointing.
It was a few degrees too cold inside, especially on a winter night. The wing order options are 6 and then 12. Why not at least offer the option to order 9? 6 is too few, but not dying to spend $19 for 12. Also, all 6 in my order were laughably small. At almost $2 per wing, they should be bigger. Finally, my friend ordered the CF Sandwich on the touchscreen which was also being promoted on a paper printout above the touchscreen. After he completed the order, the employee walked up and said they were out of the sandwich. That’s all fine, and I’m sure changing the touchscreen to reflect that is difficult, but why not take the paper down or at least write on it that it’s not available? The people behind us made the exact same choice because it didn’t occur to the business to indicate one of their options wasn’t available.
