Sushi Burrito On 8th - Salt Lake City

The exterior is absolutely incredible! I would definitely characterize this spot as a hidden gem. The Sushi Burrito options are both unique and tasty, making for a fantastic lunch or a fun snack to share. While there is seating available, it's somewhat limited. My personal favorite is the Vegas Burrito.

We were a bit apprehensive when we first arrived, but after seeing the great reviews, we decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the Citrus and Volcano Burritos, and both were incredible. They were essentially large versions of some fantastic sushi! I highly recommend this place!

I used to love this restaurant and visited frequently, but my last experience might just be my last. I understand that people have different opinions about masks, but it would be great if staff could avoid breathing over the raw food they're preparing. The employee who made my burrito had his mask pulled down under his chin and was chatting with a friend just six inches away from my food. I'm usually not very squeamish, but this really put me off. Now, when I think of Sushi Burrito, all I can imagine is some unwelcome substances in my meal.

The Burritos are pretty thick, I would say they are very expensive for how big and how much they pack. I would say they are not super filling so in this aspect you need at least 1 1/2 to really feel full. You also have a beautiful variety. I had a few times where the ingredients do not look as fresh/taste as you want for your sushi. But overall good :

Was literally greeted (yes, he said hello) by a man with his pants down sitting on the patio, but the sushi burritos inside were legit. I got the spicy tuna, my wife got the citrus, daughter got the California, all were excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back.
