Reservations are available for some conference/study areas so you are guaranteed a spot. You can find books, journals, newspapers, and more though the library, including e-books. They also house a collection of rare books on display.
Great place to study. There is a good mix of active and quiet study locations. They have vending machines and food you can purchase. Lots of access to books, computers (including VR) and other resources. Great place to study. A lot of socializing also goes on in the 3rd level main room. However it’s not hard to find a quiet place to study. Friendly and helpful staff as well!
The food is just terrible and overpriced and there's nothing else open around here. I'm mad that we're catering to coffee gourmets before there's anything to eat for people who have been in class all evening. It's very frustrating. Just stock some cup ramens and instant mac and cheese. Those cost are a dollar a piece and you could sell them for $3 and it would be an infinitely better experience. I don't understand why this place can't make their own sandwiches. That takes so little space and it's easier than brewing a coffee.
The good:Free amenities like microwave, ketchup, mustard and utensils. Most of the staff are friendly. The bad: Their selection of food is mostly composed of pricy snacks ... I paid near $6 for a chocolate, instant noodles are double the price If you're saving money and you feel hungry.. don't choose this place.
Has changed alot since I left in 2002. Still, the stacks contain thousands of important titles that can not be found elsewhere. The non student pass is invaluable to anyone looking for scholarly books and articles that are hard or expensive to access.
