Forse una peline troppo croccante e dura la base inferiore, nel nostro caso; comunque eccellente e l'uso di prodotti eccellenti, tra cui è certamente una dolce cruda di parma. i prezzi sono online, un po' altini quelli delle bevande, ma stiamo parlando di un luogo storico di salsa.
Nous avons apprécié ce soir dans ce restaurant agréable ou il a régné une bonne ambiance. bien installé et servi rapidement! puis a profité de plats de qualité mais aussi servi en quantité. Prix de qualité très correct
I’ve eaten in La Porchetta many times over the years and for the first time was disappointed. The service wasn’t up to its usual standard and the food was a let down. I was lucky in that my sole was de-boned expertly at the table but by then I was the only one eating as everyone else had already been served. At least three meals at our table were rejected. We were a large group and in th epast this has never been a problem. Hopefully a one off.
The restaurant looks great from the outside, and is inviting to guests. But the horror started when we noticed there was no menu for drinks, which is, for a restaurant with high prices, downright unacceptable. Having ordered three pizza 's and a gnocci dish, we waited patiantly on our food. When the food arrived we were instantly dissapointed without even tasting it. The pizza was a sort of deep dish slice. The funghi was straight from a jar and sour tasting. The pepper looked sickening and the gnocci had a foul stench. When we called the waiter to take back the food they started a argument with us! Claiming it was the way we prepare it, and everything is fresh . It clearly wasn 't fresh. Working at a restaurant myself, if I would respond to guests like this I would be instantly fired. The owner made a complete fool out of himself by screaming at me and telling me I was the worst guest in 37 years. In the end it was a laughter, and had a better meal at a kebab shop afterwards. Absolutly terrible!
Perfect Parma ham as you would expect for the location. Several people had veal that was amazingly tender. I had the Anglerfish, which is not typically on a menu in the USA, and it was amazing.
