Ponderosa Pies Wood Fired Pizza

I lived in Salmon for a month and this restaurant serves the best meal in town! Make sure to call ahead or go early as they tend to sell out quickly (it's a food truck with limited space). This is hands down the best pizza I have had in years. If they are sold out, the next best options are the pork peddler and junkyard. Trust me, do yourself a favor and order a pie. The white pizza is great, as well as the koa.

I rarely write reviews on Yelp, but I had to for this place. The sourdough crust was amazing! I ordered the Veggie Bomb pie and The White Pie, and I have to say, The White Pie was one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend trying it. The pies do take a bit of time to prepare, so be prepared to wait (but you can always grab a beer at the Lantern Bar while you wait - it's totally worth it!)

We absolutely adore the pizza at this restaurant! It has quickly become a go-to dinner choice for our household. The dough is just right - perfect and chewy, especially when it's made with sourdough. The white sauce with mushrooms is absolutely delicious, and the Koa pizza is a standout with its unique sweet honey drizzle. Thank you for serving up such delicious pies!
