Came here for a Christmas dinner. my first visit here for everything, despite the location very impressed by the quality of food and the friendly service. When I arrived, they gave me a slip with my name and preordered menu selection. strongly recommend the ox row inn as a venue for her works Christmas dinner.

Since we were in town to see Stonehenge, we wanted to indulge in some traditional food. We started off with apple and egg for the kids, and they absolutely must try the salted caramel ice cream! I believe the bartender mentioned it was made from buffalo milk, which was interesting. The best part was that we had to catch an early train back to London, yet we really wanted to enjoy a meal there. Although they weren't fully set up for take-out, Jason, the bartender, and the cook went above and beyond to ensure we could take some of our favorite dishes with us as a souvenir from our trip. Special thanks to the cook for going the extra mile; he was concerned that the brioche rolls might get soggy, so he wrapped them in paper—perfect for our journey. The ambiance was wonderfully authentic, and the locals at the bar were humorous and engaging. I wish Americans could learn to discuss politics as effortlessly as they did. We loved our time in Salisbury, especially the outdoor seating, but don't forget to check out the beautiful interior as well. We will definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Great spot for a drink! The staff were friendly, but it was a bit too hot to be comfortable. On the plus side, the rugby was enjoyable.
