Rose And Thistle - New Forest

We stumbled upon this amazing old pub that had low ceilings in some areas. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the manager was great. Despite it not being close to us, we drove 50 minutes to get there and were so glad we did not leave disappointed. We will definitely return and maybe even plan a nice walk before or after our next visit.

Astonishing old pub had to drop off at some places as the blankets were so low! great eating. great service. great manager. so happy we found this place that is not in front of us, and had a 50-minute drive to thank the quality that we were not disappointed. will go back and try to bind in a beautiful walk before or after.

Pub was closed for lunch, but from previous experience it is an excellent place

Lovely meal whilst on a weekend getaway. Attentive and friendly service from the staff and great menu. Highly recommended.
