Old Fashioned Burgers Ice Cream

Just what I was looking for. Delicious turkey mushroom burger and fries. One man show so there can be a short wait. Congenial friendly atmosphere and appropriately priced.

WOW! Talk about an amazing burger and fries! My girlfriend and I always go for local mom-n-pop places to eat when we travel and Old Fashioned didn't disappoint! We were greeted nicely by the owner and were told about the menu. We both went for the cheeseburger combo! My gf is picky and only wanted certain things on her burger. The owner grinned and explained that the burgers there are served open-faced and showed us the toppings bar where we get to choose the topping and how much of each. The burger was perfectly grilled coming out juicy with just the right amount of salt/pepper. Nice touch that the buns are lightly buttered then toasted on the griddle giving them that crunchy outer edge. The fries are krinkle kut and cooked when ordered! They came out nice and crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. Overall a great local dining experience with the bonus of getting to chat with the wonderful owner. We will be back soon...Highly Recommend!

We stumbled upon this place today. I got a mushroom swiss burger and it was probably the best one I have ever had. I used a few napkins but it was so juicy and the mushrooms and onions were plentiful. My husband got the chicken sandwich and enjoyed it too. The sides of fries and onion rings are huge. The fries were good but the onion rings were great. I'd recommend not getting the onion rings to-go because they can get soft pretty quick from steaming in the box. There seemed to only one gentleman there running the whole show. He was very nice, is a good cook, was sure to tell all the Moms Happy Mothers Day (a nice touch).

One star because the one guy there was friendly and running the whole show ! The burger was a precooked frozen patty , not fresh or old fashioned. The bun was good and toasted and veggies were ok but the patty wrecked it . Frozen French fries and greasy onion rings . $23 and we left with a stomach ache . Go to Sonic or one of the nearby restaurants like Johnnys excellent burgers ! but were closed today sadly for same price. We will never rerun here
