Johnny's Steaks -be-que - Salado

The brisket was delicate and moist with exactly the right amount of fat. The sausage had a great taste and mouth feeling. We ate BBQ all over Texas and the south, that was pretty good.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is made to order so that you do not constantly send cold food back. The staff is also very friendly and outgoing. This by far is my favorite place to dinate in. Prices vary and they are kind of expensive, but worth every penny.

My husband and I love going Johnny for the best big salad with grilled chicken, all we order is delicious! The beer is the coldest! The staff is friendly. We always sit in the bar area and it takes a while to get your food.. But it's worth waiting!

We stumbled over this place when we came from the highway to eat a bite and find some rest from heavy traffic, construction sites on I 35 and Texas heat! We travel from Michigan to Rockport, TX, the landfall for Hurricane Harvey was to help with the relief for a month or so. The waitress was sweet friendly, the Brisket Sandwiches were excellent and huge, the beer was frosty cold. We have a page of delicious handcuffedries on the house! And then a handwritten note from our waitress, Courtney, that said your money is not good here. The world needs more people like you!!! God bless safe travels.
