Port Side Restaurant Bar - Saint Rose

This is not your typical 5-star restaurant. it has a great charm. The food was excellent, the beer was cold. The service was impeccable. The restaurant sits on the Levee side of River Road in St. Rose, La.

A diamond in the rough! Great food! Friendly people! Some of the best gumbo I had! Pat was a joy! Muffeletta was fantastic! Just a small hole in the wall, but a jewel!

Went to a nearby plantation recommended to eat this little jewel. So glad we made it! The staff was super friendly and the food was phenomenal! Chicken meat and sausage was so tasteful and full of chicken and sausage. Shrimp Creole was also very good and the onion rings.

Friendly staff... Crawfish had good taste. In any case will come back!!!

Stopped by a few weeks ago when we were on our way home from New Orleans, one of the ladies from the near by plantation tour suggested we try here, and it was worth it! There's a lot of places to eat in the New Orleans area, and this place was one of the best we went to. The ladies working were very friendly, too, which is always a plus. Would definitely recommend, and will come back next time we're in the area.
