A restaurant that takes the time to make each plate a unique plate. recipes that come out of the ordinary with taste associations seen nowhere. location and very friendly staff. both leaders take the time to speak with you and explain their concept of local and seasonal. You have a view of the kitchen because they have nothing to hide about their home knowledge. I recommend closed eyes
We had a lovely dinner at La Puce. The staff were very friendly and spoke execllent english when our french failed us. The food was a little variable, however this may be down to personal preference. For starter I had the seafood with a lobster bisque, which was lovely and tasteful. My husband had the steak tartare, which was enjoyable. For main I had the sea bass, which could have had a crispier skin and unfortunately the ratatouille was a really unappealing grey colour, but tasted quite nice, especially with the basil sauce! My husband's main was the andouillette (a veal variant, which was made of the intestines) we were warned that it's super strong and an acquired taste, which is definitely true. It was good to try something new but definitely was very strong and hard to finish. Dessert for me was the best course, being a deconstructed lemon tart. It was truly divine! My husband's profiteroles was a bit much a massive bowl of way too much ice cream in each of the three profiteroles and not enough cream. It really needed some refinement. Service was polite. We got our starters and mains very quickly but dessert and paying the bill took a very long time, especially as the place had gotten quite busy. The other struggle was the tightness of the space. Tables were right next to each other and had to be moved to get in or out, so we felt quite trapped and claustrophobic. But other than that, the atmosphere was pleasant and the kind staff were a big plus!
The food exquisite, attended by the owners, great place to eat a 1 Michelins. This is a must to go when in Paris. We were recommended by random people at our hotel. They booked us the table. From the moment we arrived until the end, the experience was fantastic! We really loved a Paris gourmet experience there.
Super nice little restaurant, I‘d have never found that on my own. Food very delicious, very french, with many little tiny details! Wine recommendation great, menu in french, but the owner explains it wonderful!! I’ll be back hopefully sometime!
