You have to get there early. We were seated inside, even though we still had a nice view of the water, and we only wanted to be seated since the wait is long. This is not their fault since they are popular. However, they are short staffed so everything takes longer. We had looked at their menu on the internet and it was different than the one we had. They wrote on it that they had to make choices since they were short staffed. They should disclose it on the internet also because you expect more than what you get when you sit down. The food was not the best, but not the worst either. The choice was not extensive so we had salads and chicken wings. One thing that also not their fault is that it is located in front of a motorcycle parking. The noise level is therefore high. Would I go out of my way to go back, no but if I was stuck, I would go back.
Overlooking St. Lawrence. They don't take reservations, so go early and still be prepared to queue. The drinks menu has fun items to explore and the dinner menu has a great variety of delicious plates. Le Poisson Debonair was exceptional – cooked and seasoned perfectly. The blueberry shortcake was a delicious explosion of flavor and texture. Helpful server even with the dinner rush and crowd.
This is the best dinner I have had in Quebec in the 20 years I have lived here. Everything was perfect, from the welcoming staff to the quality of the food, the quick delivery, and the amazing fact that my dish stayed hot until I finished, even though I took my time to savor every bite.
This restaurant was very disappointing. The drinks were just okay, the food was mediocre, and the prices were too high for the low quality. The nachos were overly salty and poorly topped, the burger was plain and lacked flavor, and the shrimp dish was expensive but lacking in taste. The only decent dish was the short ribs. Additionally, we were puzzled by the fact that the kitchen crew were not wearing masks while working. Overall, this restaurant is not worth the money.
We had a fantastic dining experience with friends on the balcony enjoying the sunset. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals at affordable prices.
