After a stay at the paloma beach, we decided to eat a little bit close to us before we went back to the apartment. As so often I could not decide because I wanted to have a good one and let out the tourist buds. so it came that we strolled through the small harbour and ran past this restaurant. already the smell of fresh garlic and seafood was so inviting that even my guide convinced immediately to eat there, although she actually wanted only a pizza.English was no problem at all, I would have known that he also speaks very good German, we would probably have squaded even more.We ordered the pasta with fish, seafood and various mussels. This small restaurant is located in an off-center spot of St Jean, and is often overlooked. But, many who live in the town use it as the default restaurant of choice. On the water near the Charlie Chaplin Theater it is the only restaurant within 100 yards. Accordingly, visitors tend to drift down to the other site of the port where most of the towns other restaurants are located. What sets La Conchiglia apart are the fresh ingredients which Nino brings back from Italy each week. Excellent pasta, fresh fish, and great prices. Plus a view of the Port with 15 outside tables.

Good family time pizzas are delicious. only negatively the high prices and the salt too present.
