Point Of View - Saint Ives

Absolutely excellent food, great theatre and attentive staff. Everyone was knowledgeable and made the night fantastic. The location, food quality and portion sizes made total costs incredibly good. The snacks and chocolates to finish were excellent. The lamb was perfectly boiled, and the fact that the cooking team went out the way to cook two tailor-made dishes to provide for those with allergies in our party was fantastic.

Unbelievable food service and ambience. Can’t be a better place to eat in Cornwall. Tom and his team continue to excel every time we visit. The view alone is something special, coupled with the food and you have a culinary masterpiece. Something tells me Story by The Sea may well be getting a star if the inspectors come before they leave!

It was the most delicious tasting food , all of it , we wanted to book again but unfortunately were away now , it was so good we wanted to eat it all over again

Nice evening from beginning to end. The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. I only marked it through a notch when we arrived early, went to the bar, but fought to get a drink served. It would be nice to think that this would be an annual meal option. Bravo and thanks!
