Restaurant du Pont

Great view on the river after the sun has gone down. Frog legs and fried fish from the river are very good. Limited wine list but the Poilly-Fuissé we had was excellent.

We saw the pontoon outside the restaurant at the last moment should we , shouldn't we? Go on, the best move all the trip, the chef came out to help us moor up, no obligation to dine there it's their pleasure for us to moor, we had a look at the menu seemed very good value, so I booked a table for two we were the first in at 7 pm the place was empty , immediately an aperitif was offered accompanied by canapés we had the 28 euro menu we had stuffed tomatoes with goats cheese to start my wife had cod I had duck steaks, cheese, crime brule, and nugget ice cream , all complimented by a pitcher of house wine 72 euros the lot it was a superb meal in a stunning setting by the time we left there was not an empty seat in the place, must have been at least 150 people dining all in a picturesque rural setting and in the morning the chef came down to the pontoon to see us off he typified the level of welcome and service we saw all through our visit definitely one not to miss

This unpretentious restaurant is located on the berge of the Saone River. It is not fancy but the view is worth it. They offer an array of menus starting around 24 Euros with a choice of frog legs, small field fish etc... The food is excellent and the service is good. When you need a casual place and reasonable prices this is the place to go!

Authentic restaurant ( established in 1912)with lovely genuine furniture: the chef is the fourth generation : his great grandfather opened it and at this time people had dinner and danced !We stopped on the pontoon with our boat and ...being French : had frogs but the menu offers a lot of choices ! Coffee was served with homemade meringues and the food and service were very good.We recommend this place !

Un bon resto, de la qualité c'était très bon, des produits frais, un service un peu lent mais beaucoup de monde. Je recommande
