El Patron - Saint Bernard Parish

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I have been eating here for over 10 years...after today I can promise you I will never be back!!! First the owner/older guy messed up the entire order. I ordered an a la carte quesadilla with a side of rice and he billed me for the quesaidilla meal which is supposed to come with rice and beans! Instead he brought out the quesadilla with frys, when the side of frys was a separate order. Then, there was either a thick hair or insect leg that was in my food. Yes he took my food off the bill, but when I questioned the incorrect items on the bill he had the nerve as the owner to argue back and try to tell me what I order, how in the world can he tell me what I ordered when I am the one who ordered it and know what my family wanted to eat? After I paid, I walked up to the check out area for take out and asked for a bag of chips for the remaining salsa cheese we had left, the heavier set guy who been there as long as I've been eating there acted like it was an inconvenience to him, he went and got the older guy(owner) and the older guy came charging up there asking what I wanted...I told him I was looking to get some chips he then walked off and got my bill from the table, I am not sure what for. I guess maybe to see if I left a tip. Yes! I did 18% even though I had a bad experience. The younger Spanish guy with the earrings that brought our food out to the table then came up to the register and went to check me out....$2. for chips after I just paid a $135. for dinner...and had the nerve to say he would lose his job if he gave them to me for free. I said wow, $135 on dinner, hair in food, wrong food brought out and inaccurate bill but they still had to charge me $2. For chips!! I will never be back!! This restraunt has went to ****....spare yourself the experience with the rude owner, overbilling messed up order by going to El Paso.

Went at lunch food was cold reordered fajitas from lunch menu tried to charge me regular price lady who said she didn't work there got involved because she didn't like me saying that I ordered from lunch and the lady was to far away to notice what I ordered overall bad

I use to go to “Burritos grill” for lunch. The service there was terrible, shared salsa with a table or 5 every single time I sat down. Service was horrendous. Came to this establishment and immediately welcomed with a kind server. Amazing service and great atmosphere. I give it 5 stars.
