Teske's Germania - Sahibabad

Went for one of their Sommer Fest dinners. The Internationals were playing outside and we had outside seating. I was there with my wife and two sons and all of us enjoyed our meal. I have seen this band before and they were a bit disappointing but there was a small crowd so maybe that played into their enthusiasm.

The furniture, deco, smells, German music and the food transported me to a restaurant in Germany. Professional and personable server. Any dish that has meat and gravy is outstanding here. Get the strudel, even if you have to share it, just to taste how a real strudel is supposed to taste like.

We made a reservation because we saw the restaurant on Check Please, Bay Area. We were excited to try German food after traveling to Germany not too long ago. The service was fine, food was fine, and ambiance was ok. It's not a place I would likely return to for a meal, but a drink in their outdoor seating area would be fun.

The Jägerschnitzel was very good with the mushroom sauce and spaetzle. We made the drive from 1 hour away (noon time) after we saw Teske's reviewed on Check Please! Bay Area It was worth it. Street parking was a bit tight so we opted for the multi-story city lot. Glad we did so we could walk off the delicious apple strudel!

We had an amazing time at Teske's Germania! The food was excellent! Exactly prepared in the German tradition. Last time I had anything that came close to this was when we were in Cologne. The service was second to none. Jeff was awesome! They had a live band playing German folk songs that was just perfect for setting the perfect ambiance. Make sure you ask to sit outside in the patio. This is where all the action is at.
