Best Burger Ever - The B.B.E - Sagres

We had dinner there, nice environment, kind waitresses but, considering prices in Portugal, not the best deal you can have here.However burgers were not the best burger I ever eaten... they were just ok.Owner proposes wood games to kids (and not only to kids) to entertain guests.

Ate lots of burgers in my time and this place is up there for quality, fresh beef and fresh veg. Would defiantly recommend this place if you fancy an American style burger.

Most of all, I liked the feeling of these place. Very friendly and relaxed service with surfers hanging around. I see burgers have got varying reviews, but at least ours were very well. Maybe not the best ever, but solid 4 stars in any case!

Had a lovely dinner here after a recommendation from friends. Abraham was really helpful and chatty. The food was great and the staff were all very friendly.

We had lunch there last week. My son's burger was red raw in places and we returned it. The other burgers were a pallid grey, and looked as they hadn't seen either a grill or pan, probably just heated up in a microwave. The chips were obviously re-heated, not at all fresh. The staff were less than helpful, the female manger in particular being obstructive. 2 of us had upset stomachs that evening and night. Finally, it's not cheap....go into town and get a much better real Portuguese meal at one of the many restaurants/cafes. Or the InterMarche has a decent café for cheap snacks.
