Alecrim - CARRAPATEIRA

I had the gnocchi with pesto sauce that was delicious. there are some vegan appetizers and also vegan pizza on the menu. the hotel is located in a sweet but distant surf town. clientele was tourist and international living in the opposite very recommended!

Small place, interesting menu. I ordered ayurvedic salat. menu listed 6 aromes, which were: carrots, beetles, blueberries, strawberries, mandling and sesame seeds. On the kept search for strawberries and mangle under a huge mass of green leaves, beetroot and blueberries, but no one could be found! the disappointment of experiences as on the low FODMAP diet means that small amount of beet and blueberries is allowed. the half of the beet and blueberries remained and not finished, which is sad and completely a waste. even if a waiter said that the rest go to municipal waste! I wish I knew that the court would come out incompletely so that I could order something else I could eat and would not waste. the channel of my partner was ok.

This restaurant is a surprise stone on a quiet side street in carrapateira, portugal. we had the veggie suppe and the dahl that were incredibly delicious (both vegan). they have fermented pizza pastry, fresh salads and amazing desserts! my friend had the vegan tiramisu she said was the best she had. it was too sweet for me, but I don't eat any sugar at all. wow! the service was also excellent: friendly, efficient, so helpful and simply incredibly sweet. we have 3 free days in portugal and we have arranged to stay right next door so we can eat this amazing food. updated by previous review on 2022-05-31
