Pineneck Pizza - SAG HARBOR

We arrived at the restaurant early and the staff was able to seat us before our reservation time. We later decided to add two more people to our party and the staff had no issue accommodating them. Although some of the specials were unavailable, we found the food to be delicious. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future!

I had a reservation and was seated at a booth that was very tight with plywood attached to the back. The noise level in the restaurant was also very high. I ordered a burger, but it arrived barely cooked and cold. Despite the issue, I did not send it back as I did not want to inconvenience others at my table. This was not the first time I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant; I also had a cold potato side six months ago. I have dined at this location many times in the past and had positive experiences until recently. I wonder if there has been a change in ownership. The waiter and other staff members provided excellent service, but there seems to be a need for improvement in the kitchen and the quality of the food being served.

The pizza here is fantastic! I especially enjoyed the buffalo chicken topping.

It appears to be a mix of locals and tourists. I made a reservation on Open Table and my table was ready. Tonight was burger night with a $2 discount. The service was exceptional, very friendly and quick. The food was excellent, with the best fries and delicious charbroiled burgers, as well as an excellent Rueben sandwich.

We always have a great evening at MJ Dowlings . . . the food is wonderful, the service is the best . . . but most of all the staff is so welcoming and kind. It's our GO-TO spot
