If you aren’t getting it for free, don’t even bother. The service is hostile and the food is worse than a continental breakfast. Cancelled my dinner reservations based on my breakfast experience alone.

While Soleil K is great for hotel guests at the Marriott Gaslamp Quarter, it's worth a stop for non-guests, as well. Good service and while it can be busy during peak hours, other hours are quiet and quaint. I ate there for breakfast and dinner, both of which were enjoyable meals. The breakfast burrito is among the best I've had and was really what I expected for Southern California and San Diego. At dinner, I had a Jidori Chicken, which was equally good. Service was excellent at two of my dining visits and very good at a third. Great hotel and a restaurant to match.

Do not waste your time and money on breakfast buffet there are tastier options in walking distance! Staff nice but bacon soggy and didn?t taste like bacon, sausage greasy also with no flavor, pastries very dry and cold. They even messed up s

Ok breakfast attached to the hotel. The food was luke warm and the salt and pepper packs were moist all the time we went. We went due to issues to our room so we got free breakfast but not really a good tasting breakfast here and always had to ask toget drinks. Not bad but service and food think somewhere else.
