While the place is beautiful and both the pastries and coffee are delicious, the lack of service is unfortunate. This problem is frequent as other reviews mention it and personally this is not the first time I experience feeling ignored and unwelcome at this establishment by the owner and employees.

I came here after wanting to try it for a while and was a little disappointed.Firstly, the other reviews covering the strange service interactions definitely hold up. The staff just seems generally uninterested in you, to where you've got to initiate any kind of conversation to get service.I ordered an iced black sesame latte with oat milk, and it cost me around $8. The drink itself wasn't great. There were a lot of little ground bits in the bottom; so either the espresso was pulled incorrectly and I received a lot of coffee grounds in my drink, or it's how they add the black sesame flavor to the drink. However, it would have made much more sense to infuse a syrup or even the milk with the sesame, so that the drinker doesn't end up with unpleasant bits in their mouth. Additionaly, after the first few sips it tasted like a standard, unflavored latte.Can't say that I'll be coming back.
