Kikos Seafood Lunch Truck - S San Diego

This spot has been on my radar for numerous years, and yet they still consistently serve fresh and quality seafood.Consome complimentary): light, but flavorful and refreshing! 8/10 rating.O.G. Fish Taco $3.50): crispy batter with melt in your mouth fish. It's simple but fresh, and the cookery is on point. 8.5/10.Octopus Taco $9): tender octopus and paired nicely with avocado and fresh veggies, 7.5/10 rating. I prefer the octopus to be pan-fried for a crispy texture, as it is done in Tijuana.It's a food truck, so the ambiance is outdoorsy. You can eat on the left and behind the truck by standing near or sitting on the short concrete wall. I ate the fish taco in my car within their parking lot and took the octopus taco home. The service was fast and friendly, and there is no question I'd return here.

Hands down the best fish taco you can get in San Diego. there was a 3 for $7 special today due to it being Taco Tuesday and it really fills you up. the fish is light but crispy and the chipotle sauce and lime really adds flavor. service is quick but be prepared to eat in your car or at the mall across the street. no tables to sit at but the taste of the food absolutely makes up for it. come try kikos fish taco you won't regret it.

My friend and I came here at 4:00 on a Tuesday because we were in the mood for some tacos. It was Taco Tuesday so we knew that we had to get tacos. I was in the mood for seafood so we decided to go out to kiko place because they have some of the best fish tacos in San Diego. They have a taco Tuesday special with three tacos for $7. What a deal. We both got three fish tacos each and it was marvelous. The tacos are good size also so it definitely filled us up. I've been to this food truck and their sisters food truck and they are both really good. I also had their shrimp tacos which were equally good. There's not much seating or tables but you kind of make do with what is around, sometimes that includes a big rock. Everything here is tasty and fresh so you'll be sure to find something that you'll like. I've been coming to them for a while and will be coming back.

Wow! Just wow!This is the best grilled fish taco I 've EVER had! So nicely seasoned and tender. My family also got octopus and battered fish tacos. They could not be better. It is amazing how good the food is coming out of this truck. Generous portions and prices you can 't beat (especially the Tues taco special). Talking with the regulars while waiting, revealed a dedicated and enthusiastic following of fans who eat here regularly. We may have to start making a weekly pilgrimage to this food truck to get our fish taco fix!

Amazing fish tacos. Friendly staff. Surprise complementary fish soup!I was full from 2 OG fish tacos. I hope to make a visit every time I'm in the San Diego area and explore more of the menu .
