Dry Muffin - S San Diego

These have to be the best donuts I've ever eaten. I had to drop a fedex off at a mailing center that was right next door decided to treat myself to a few donuts because they smelled so good. I'm so glad I stopped-they were absolutely delicious. The texture frosting were spot on. Highly recommend will definitely return.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a typical family-run donut shop with amazing, exceptional coffee and donuts. I try to come at least once per week to get a coffee treat and maybe a little sweet on the side. Their donuts are fresh and made daily, and lately they've been offering homemade banana bread (they sell a whole loaf for $30). The coffee is made to order as well and always the perfect ratio of coffee to cream/milk. It's like when you just see the color and you know it's gonna smack. I already can't wait for this week's visit. The ladies are friendly but prompt and quick, they don't mess around so know what you want and be clear about what you're ordering. There is almost always a line and they go in order of when you get there, even if it's just a coffee. They have some seating with people occasionally sitting and enjoying their goodies, but most people seem to order and bounce. Caveat, is that parking in this lot sucks. It's a strip mall so it's shared with several other businesses and the coin op is usually popping. There is minimal street parking, but just be aware and cautious when driving in this area.

Really enjoyed my experience at Golden Donut. Was met with kind smiles behind the counter and from other customers. Overall a really cozy spot bustling with regulars who helped me choose what I wanted to eat! The croissants were delectable. So delicious! Coffee was amazing. Can't wait to become a regular.

Ham and cheese was fluffy and crunchy! Warm it up and it will taste even better! The donuts were soft, everyone loved it. The people were super friendly and helpful! Love coming here when I am in the area. Small, clean little shop. If you have allergies, they don't cross contaminate and just ask for new tongs when grabbing certain donuts. They were super nice about our allergies!

If you're looking for coffee that feels like it could send you into cardiac arrest, this is the place for you. It's possibly the strongest coffee I've ever experienced. Some people enjoy that intensity (I'm not one of them), so if you do, I highly recommend checking it out. However, this establishment is really known for its donuts, as their name implies, and they are phenomenal. Every donut I've tried has been delicious, but my absolute favorite is the Maple Bacon. There's also a small seating area that's perfect for relaxing while your laundry is being done next door.
