Brockton Villa - S San Diego

Food was outstanding as was the attentive service. Menu options were unique and varied, not the usual boring bacon and eggs. The view was an added bonus! Look forward to going back to try more of the menu items.

This place certainly survives on location alone. Our $83 brunch (without tip) consisted of two terrible dishes and a mimosa flight. The crab Benedict was awful and the breakfast tacos were uninspired and overfilled with eggs. With so many options available in La Jolla, I would avoid this one.

My guest and I sat outside on a balcony overlooking the sea lions and La Jolla Cove which was delightful. The food was excellent (try the crab cakes) and service perfect. Looking forward to talking my wife for a romantic outing.

I had the raspberry lemon coast toast and it was delicious. My granddaughter had the classic coast toast and thought it was a little too “gooey” inside. Breakfast potatoes were not hot. Sausage was over cooked. I have eaten here many times and have not had any complaints. Must have been an “off” day. I would definitely go back to Brockton Villa.

Everything about this restaurant was excellent!the burger, the halibut, the salmon tartare, clam chowder soup, strawberry spritz and red wines were all to die for!! Daniel was our server and he was an absolute treat! The others were equally as wonderful, warm, and attentive! The view of the water was unobstructed and stunning with the sunset. We will definitely come back when we're in town! If you plan to come, plan accordingly and reserve your table days in advance (for brunch even further ahead of time). Thanks for everything!
