Make you buy “bread and butter/olive oil” which is usually served with food gratis at most Italian restaurants (incl Italy) Wheelchair accessibility: Limited, awkward elevator from street level to go to the restaurant proper (restrooms). Suggest to sit inside the restaurant

I had $95 of food but they charged $175 to my credit card. It’s unacceptable and irritating so be careful with this place.

We recently dined at Bencotto and was thoroughly impressed by the authentic Italian cuisine they offered. We decided to try the Ravioli al Granchio and the Penne with Tartufo e Funghi, both of which exceeded our expectations. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with attentive staff who made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Bencotto delivered an exceptional meal that showcased the best of Italian cuisine. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu.

The food was amazing, we however did not like sitting upstairs in the corner in the dark. The decor and the ambiance upstairs was blah... Our server was efficient but not very outgoing and when I asked him if he has any suggestions on meal choices he didn't really have any suggestions seemed like he really just wanted to not be there. But again the food was amazing.

The food was amazing. Admittedly I do not have the most demanding of standards for food but this place is really good for a special occasion if you are willing to spend a little extra. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and full of flavor. They had a wide selection of drinks but I cannot comment because I do not drink. All in all this is a good spot and I recommend it.
