Indy's Sandwich - S Portland

This place is small, but I love the decorations they have for hoilday spirit. They have their own parking lot, so you can pull right in easily. They have a few different areas where you can sit and eat inside too. The menu has a variety of different sandwhichs to pick from and some great combinations. When you walk in, it brings you right to the cashier to order. We were greeted with a smile and helped instantly. Our orders came out fast and were brought over to us. The sandwhichs were warmed and smothered with toppings. I love how big/thick the fried chicken sandwhich was. It has a delicious fried crunchy coating. Both sandwhichs were smothered with sauce too. I just wish the orders would come with some kind of side, though (chips,fries,coleslaw, ect). The food was delicious and would come back to get it again or try others.

One of the best sandwich places I have ever been to in South Portland. The service was quick and they have a lot of cute seatings. It got super busy when we went which is a good sign! Will be back!

I love this place. I always get the thumbelina and a thai iced tea, but there's so much to try off the menu.Vegetarian options: Thumbelina sandwich has crispy-fried eggplant.Kid-friendliness: Good family atmosphere, well decorated, and comfortable to dine-in or wait in line.

I'm not typically a review-leaver unless a place really does it right. I just picked up lunch here and I've gotta say, as an inferior specimen of the human race that is incapable of tolerating gluten, Indy's sandwich shop really Wow'd me. Most places do not stuff their sandwiches like this place. The friendliness was on point and the atmosphere, relaxing. If you are looking for above-par sandwiches, gluten intolerant or not, check this place out! They do it right!
