We were excited by the menu. Ordered a salmon , beef cheeks and chicken wing entree , unfortunatly everything was dry and overcooked. Not happy with the amount of food recieved for price either. Wont be returning very dissapointing.
The work done in this location is impressive, with a manageable layout that includes a bistro and two distinct functional spaces that operate seamlessly together. Plus, the pizza is quite good!
I had a meal at the bistro today, and it was quite average. The lady who took my order didn’t inform me about the ingredients in the salad I ordered. For someone like me, who has dietary restrictions, that's important to know.
I ordered a seafood platter for one, and it was incredibly disappointing. The prawns were warm and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long, complete with their heads and veins still intact. The oysters were also lukewarm, coming from the same questionable heat source. My friend's kilpatrick oysters arrived late, and they seemed to be from a can, served in a manipulated shell. Overall, the meal was very subpar and almost inedible. The calamari was dried out, overcooked, and chewy. To top it all off, there was a lackluster Nile perch that tasted like it came from a packet. Given that this is a seaside town where fresh seafood should be abundant, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Other dishes also appeared to be of low quality, so this wasn't just a one-time occurrence. It was a Saturday night, and I really don't understand what went wrong.
