The food is fresh and delicious, the service is great and it's very reasonably priced. A friend who has spent a lot of time in Thailand said their Som Tum was every bit as good as she ate in Thailand. We've compared their Betel Nut Leaf starters, Salt Pepper Calamari, Larb Gai, Lamb Massamum, Moo Yang and stir-fried veggies with other restaurants and Ruck Thai's versions are always better.
Just terrible. This was the absolute worst Pad Thai I have ever attempted to eat. The noodles were so dry I needed water to help swallow, I'm not kidding. Basically nothing but dry noodles...must have run out of meat, egg or spring onion? or just stingy. Balmain has heaps of Thai places. Try anywhere else but here.
Delicious good food fresh produce authentic taste, good value for money, courteous service, clean environment and friendly staff.
Hands down, this is absolutely the worst Thai I have ever had. This is the first and last time we will be ordering from them. The curries (panang and massaman) were watery and tasteless- it tasted as though it was the same sauce but that the massaman had cloves in it, and there were hardly any veges or meat . We only ordered from them because our local was closed. So disappointed and we will never order from them again.
Although we don’t live in Sydney, we have been coming to this amazing restaurant for over 5 years. The food is incredible, the staff are wonderful we always leave feeling just a little bit happier. If you love Thai food, this is some of the best you will ever eat. Try the beetle leaves with prawns...a taste sensation! The crying tiger with sticky rice is also a favourite. Nok her team are generous attentive always ensure we are well looked after.
