Campestre Mexican - Round Lake Beach

Have lived in Round Lake Beach 17 years and this is my 1st time coming in for a sit down meal (Saturday 5/4, 7pm). The place was 1/2 to 2/3 full. What impressed me the most is the waitresses (only 2) were able to keep people fed in a very timely manner. The establishment is clean and the food was good. Both my spouse and I ordered the carne asada meal. Unfortunately one flank steak was a bit greasy compared to the other one. My spouse has acid reflux, so that 's probably why she noticed this. Had an excellent experience, the prices are fair, and yes I do plan to dine at this establishment again one day.

The food is great but what really stood out for me was the great prices$25 for 2 people, other places its $25 a person!

Very friendly and quick staff. Menu prices are amazing. My kiddos even love this place too.

When they are about to be served, they give you the tacos all backwards in the order to eat, bad service
