Hafenbuffet - Rorschach

Good variety of dishes with great quality. The waiters are all very nice and kind. The view is amazing!

A few years ago I discovered this restaurant as its name was still ‘’Englers am See’’ and my dinner had already been enjoyable. In the meantime, new tenants have moved in, and the ‘’Hafenbuffet’’ (as it is now called) offers an even better level of quality. The dining room boasts beautiful view over Lake Constance. A huge thumbs up to the waitresses for the very friendly and attentive service during the whole dinner. I began with a tuna carpaccio very fresh fish, delicate and tasty starter. As main course I chose the pan fried sea bass generous and tasty portion, nice presentation. As sweet I indulged myself with a lemongrass parfait: flavourful and refreshing dessert. Unfortunately Switzerland has always had a high price structure, and due to its scenic location, Hafenbuffet is no exception. The bill amounted to CHF84. Not cheap indeed, but the good food and great service are definitely well worth it.

Sehr angenehmes Restaurant mit Blick auf den See bzw. Rorschacher Hafen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen sehr gut. Im Allgemeinen sehr gut nur etwas teuer.

Wir haben hier einen tollen Abend erlebt: Der Service war hervorragend, äusserst aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war wunderbar (gemischter Salat, Tomaten-Mozzarella-Salat, Entrecôte, Saibling-Filet, Eiskaffe, Crema Catalana). Die Aussicht auf den See ist super, die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder!

Sehr gemütlich so direkt am See zu essen und beim wunderschönem Wetter ist es super!
