Good food, but . . .. The food at Tang's Garden is excellent, they are one of the few restaurants in town that have Shrimp Lo Mein, my former favorite Chinese place does not. The only thing I did not like about this restaurant was the service. I have gone there twice now, the first time I was appalled at how rude the staff was. On my second trip, (I decided to give them another shot, I love Shrimp Lo Mein) they were much improved. Did I catch them on a bad day the first time? Were they just happier the second time since it was Friday? Who knows. Customer service is a big deal, especially with so many unemployed people out there. I will still go there unless I find a place with a nicer staff and better Lo Mein.
The food was quite good for the price. However, the restaurant could really benefit from some updates. For instance, the bathrooms are quite small and not accessible for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the handicapped parking is located at the far end of the lot, making it difficult for someone in a wheelchair to access the restaurant.
This is the best Chinese food in town! The spicy wings were fantastic, and we loved the Mongolian beef and broccoli chicken. Everything was so delicious! They also offer an amazing lunch special for just $4.75, which includes an entree, soup, an egg roll, and crispy noodles. Wow! It's a great deal for such tasty food!
Always Satisfied! The service here is excellent—quick, quiet, and friendly. The house fried rice and cashew chicken are outstanding. While the interior could use a refresh, it doesn’t deter me from coming back. I absolutely love Tang's; it’s definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in Rome!
