Sam's Burger Deli (armuchee) - Rome

This was a first visit to Sam 's Burger/Deli. Loved the use of airplane parts on the outside (and inside). We were warmly greeted and welcomed to a table. Wife had a burger, I had the chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. French Fries and especially the onion rings were piping hot and delicious. The Manager came up to us as we were leaving and asked us about our experience. Not the usual thanks for coming by , he really was interested. Place was clean and comfortable. Next time we want to take a day trip to Rome Georgia we will certainly go back to Sam 's.

We ate here for the first time Sat. I got the 1/4 burger. The patty was about the size of a good sized sausage patty on a very big bun. A lot of bread and very little meat. Definitely not worth $9. We were here about 5;30 and they were moderately busy but service very slow.

We have eaten here regularly at least once per week and carried out of town friends there. The past several times it has not been what we had come to expect. Tonight is the straw that broke the camel 's back. My husband and I had a burger. We asked forour burger WELL DONE! When it arrived after a few bites mine was raw. (This is not the first time I have received meat raw, when asked for done. Of course, you rarely see a waitress until it is time to get the check. I tried to eat around it because I did not want to get sick. When I told the young waitress all the immature young lady could say is: I am sorry . Not that she would get another if I liked, or she would tell the manager. Well, I am sorry does not help with a $10.00 burger. I had already decided that I did not want to return, when my husband said: that is it a roach ran across the table. I really hate it has come to this because we loved going there. Sam needs to have a manager in the evening beside the young immature women. Someone that can make things right. They could take lessons from Chick fil A.

My 2 kids ate an entire 14 pepperoni pizza they loved it. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was delicious. My daughter also got the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks and those we really good as well. Outdoor seating looked great but we sat inside where table were spaced quite nicely.

Great atmosphere.Great Prices.Big Portions.Love the large drink glasses and pellet ice.The food was hot and delicious. Big Menu.One star deducted because of the aluminum foil.Just not a fan of the foil because I ate a piece before realizing that the cheese had melted to it.Will return. ?
