Purple Mountain Natural Market - Rome

I have been living in Rome for 8 years, but I have only been a vegetarian for a few months. Purple Mountain recently relocated to a more comfortable and visible location. They offer a wide variety of healthy lifestyle products such as cleaning products, cosmetics, and bulk items. They also have a selection of drinks and perishable items. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious vegan products they offer, such as cashew coconut creams, cheese substitutes, and Tofurky. Although I didn't see any veggie burgers on the menu, they do have a good selection of snacks and grains like Bob's Red Mill products and rice flour mixes. I did notice a small selection of fresh items, like ginger, in a basket in the cooler. Hopefully, as business grows, they will be able to offer more fresh options. Overall, I am happy to have Purple Mountain in Rome and hope that their improved location will lead to an expanded menu in the future.
