We found this place by accident, passing through Rockford. Food is awesome, Sho Boat, ribs, chicken, everything is great as long as it is soathered with sauce. Whole family loved it, we will be back.

This is a quaint family owned restaurant that has been in business for about 20 years. The owners are very personable friendly. They made us feel like a friend, not a customer. We had their specialty- the Sho Boat sandwich fries. The food was exceptionally good the portions were just right. We felt that the price was very reasonable. We will definitely return!

I have to comment now because otherwise it won't be as authentic. And OMG! I ate it cold however that's how you know the true deliciousness of food! I was delivering for GrubHub, and you can't tell it's a proud family establishment! They offered me a little something to try their food since I have never been there and due to working I ended up eating it cold and I'm telling you if it's that good cold I can't wait to try it fresh!

I felt like I was at home. Their customer service was the best I have ever experienced. I am so picky and grade customer service everywhere I go. Probably because my life career has always been in a form of Customer Service. The food and sauce was amazing. Great job Smokehouse… make me proud
