Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Rochester

My friend and I each got a smoothie and paid a tip. The smoothie's weren't even blended all the way and not made correctly. For the price we paid we expected better. This location seems to be struggling lately.

Not working at this location after my 4-5 years of hard work/ dedication to these owners it is SUCH a relief to no longer be working under them. Every year that went by it went more and more downhill, i truly love working at tropical smoothie but never again will I vouge for this location. The absolute worst, from ownership all the way to customer service. Quite the disappointment. If you’re looking for amazing service, smoothies that are actually made correctly, and efficient wait times check out the new location on 26 and vandyke! Amazing teamwork and awesome efficiency

I generally like TSC but this location indont know if they’re short staffed or what but i ealked in, waited in front of the register for like 5 minutes behind another girl who was also waiting. Nobody acknowledged our existence.. no “be right with you sorry for the wait” or nothing. Nobody behind the counter looked happy. I eventually just left without ordering.

I've never given a one star before, but I was extremely disappointed with the way the drive thru staff behaved. We tried reaching out to management about our concerns to be met with no response. Avoid this place if you can!

Accidentally ordered from the wrong location but was only 5 minutes further of a commute from work so didn't cancel... wish I had and ordered from my regular TSC because this was awful. Ordered a smoothie/wrap combo and there was an issue with every single item. First, the kale apple slaw had about 3 pieces of kale in the entire side dish and was bone dry. The smoothie (Detox Island Green) was extremely watery and had no added whey protein which I paid extra for. The whey has a pretty distinctive taste so you're 100% able to tell when it's been added to a smoothie. Finally, went to eat my wrap (Hummus Veggie) and it's soaked with some sort of taco/hot sauce making it practically inedible. I can't tell you what the sauce was exactly but I can tell you that it doesn't belong on the Hummus Veggie as this is the only item I've been ordering for over 5 years. Extremely disappointed because I've wasted my lunch to drive and pay over $15 for a lunch that I can't even eat.
