Finally, I approached a waitress to ask who our server was, as we had been waiting for a while. She quickly informed me that she was our server, but was busy with tables outside. There was no apology or attempt to rectify the situation, and the service was very rude. It was evident that the restaurant was struggling to manage their tables both inside and outside. Instead of continuing to wait, we decided to leave and have dinner at whistle binkies, where the food is consistently good and the beer is cheaper.
The menu at this restaurant offers a nice variety of dishes, including some intriguing appetizers. The selection of beer and wine is a bit limited, with only a few local brews and an apple wine. The food was flavorful and had a nice aroma. I particularly enjoyed the spicy and berry hot sauces, especially the berry sauce which had just the right amount of heat. The overall price was a bit high considering the style and portion sizes. I would be interested in returning to try the terrace on a sunny afternoon.
The dining experience was fantastic, the service was impeccable! The staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I have attended many Easter Brunches in the past, but the Purple Goat has one of the best selections for my family. The food and atmosphere were outstanding. Even though this was their first Easter Brunch and they have only been in business for 1 1/2 years, I really hope they continue to offer more brunches for special occasions in the future.
We had mixed feelings about purple goat. the food was good and they had unique options that I have seen nowhere in rustest, like a goat cheeseburger with picked up. However, the meal was depicted $60 that we felt was a bit high. Above all, we were surprised, only 3 jalapeno popper roll for $12.95 the Habanero cheese curds were just $10 and so good. (although very sharp, we love true heat and this supplied) but we both said that we would not pay so much to feed there again. it was just not that good. three other notes, they have no baby change table and we have no high chair for our children. So not really a family-friendly option. and it was maybe just a busy day, but our server was also the bartender and she was much too widespread. they had no time to refill us or ask us how our food was and also forget to put in our order for appetizers, so we had to ask them again when they brought our meal. but we could see them all the time and she worked her **** at the bar, she really had no time to serve us. and finally the burger represented what we were given when we were asked for a medium that was rare. it was still juicy and good, but no trace of pink. overall it was okay. we won't come back because we thought it was expensive for just okay.
