Montesano's Pizza - Rochester

Amazing staff, delicious food, and top-notch service. This place is fantastic!!!

I agree that the owner has a great personality, and his wife is just as charming. However, their son is truly exceptional and is often the one cooking. When he makes your meal, it's fantastic, and the place tends to get quite busy. There are similar restaurants nearby that I found less appealing. The pizza isn't anything special, but the calzone is out of this world—you can easily get three meals out of one! If you're craving wings, I recommend checking out the place across the street.

Great value for money! They offer large subs and pizzas and can serve a lot of customers quickly; they had six sheets of pizza ready in under an hour. While some pizzas might be better elsewhere, this family-owned restaurant is typically friendly and has a nice atmosphere in the busy small town.

Amazing! Nothing like homemade sauce from the best tomatoes grown in California, along with homemade sausage with wonderful fennel taste. Well worth the 6 mile detour from I-90! There is a sweet outdoor dining area. Don't let the little restaurant fool you. Montesano's provides generous portions, great taste and love in the kitchen of great hearts. Remember the small Italian restaurants in my hometown of Eat Boston. The best food ever!

Very friendly. Yummy food. Comfortable to take children. Would be great in warmer weather to eat at picnic tables.
