The owner is of Sicily and knows how to cook...from the Calamari appetizer, for dinner, to all desserts. I had the crab ravioli and you could see the crab meat in the sauce.son had meatballs Sub, daughter had Alfredo and wife had a house special... Owner takes his love for cooking on food and ambience. Not because it's gone. AUTHENTIC Italian.
We were traveling and found this place by chance. It was awesome! The whole family enjoyed their meals. The bread, sauces, calamari noodles were all great! The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.
Ok, so my family decided a week before to have dinner here, basically to celebrate me and my husband's 5th wedding anniversary. We arrived around 7pm and the place was completely jam-packed, which is fine, I guess because this is a local favorite. We ordered appetizers, main course and a dessert. The appetizer: French fries with cheese and onion rings. ? The french fries were bland and super greasy. Not appetizing at all. We kind of finishing it t still because we're kind of starving. Onion rings were fine, I think. Main course: Pizza and two orders of Linguine Al Pescatore ? The pasta was soooo bland. The seafoods we're tasty but not the pasta, nor the sauce. I also picked a piece of hair before I ate it, and when I was almost done, I thought I had put into my mouth long shard of shell but no, it was a tough plastic that IDK what. I was baffled. I really could've asked for a manager but because it was me and my husband's wedding anniversary that I don't want to ruin our dinner moment that we planned ahead of time. Dessert: Canoli ? Ok, this was the first time I ate a Canoli, I even asked what that was from my husband, but it was suggested so I thought it tastes good. But no, it's only sweet but not good at all. I secretly wished I ordered something else, like a cake or tiramisu. They also served us a bread with two small servings of butter. The butter won't even melt to the bread because it's not warm enough. The server was nice and friendly though. Overall: ? I was not totally happy about my experience at all.
I like how the place is small and cozy. The service was pretty decent and my chicken alfredo was very good. I like my food salty so I did have to add a little bit of salt and crushed red pepper but the bread was good as well.. The pricing was slightly confusing as well because my friend thought he ordered something on special that came with a drink and he got charged for a drink but it didn't waste time making a big deal out of it. I would come back
What a great find in the little town of Robersonville. We were seated immediately and the server was polite and friendly. We had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. The alfredo sauce was rich, thick and creamy. The price per portion ratio was good and we even had leftovers for the next day. The outdoor seating area was nice and in the evening it can create quite the atmosphere. I would say this is one of my top three Italian restaurants in the area. I would recommend you take the time to drive to Robersonville to give them a try.
