Alto Restaurant -  Riverview,

I have always enjoyed food from Alto but with my purchase today. I am totally disappointed with the restaurant. As I searched for a meal choice for myself and my family. I immediately thought of Altos and there wonderful donair pizza. Through skip the dishes I ordered a lg Donair Pizza and waited for its arrival. To my surprise a donair wrap arrived instead. Not only was it not what I ordered and paid for, it was a cheaper item and not enough food for 4 ppl. I immediately called the restaurant hoping to receive the correct order. Instead I got stuck in a back and forth conversation about how I got a wrap what was my problem. I explained over and over I ordered a pizza not a wrap. All I kept hearing back was yes you were sent a wrap what is the problem. It got to the point I raised my voice and said, look I ordered a pizza and you sent me the wrong item. Instead of correcting there mistake I was asked to give my name and phone number and next time I order they will send the pizza. REALLY hope I don’t starve in the mean time. Had the pork snitzel with bacon mushroom sauce, sounded good but when I got it, it was tough and the sauce was very greecy, I wouldn't order this again

We stopped by with the kids for lunch and were very happy with food and service. We are travelling in NB and had a chance to stop in several restaurants and it’s the first time nothing is too salted or too fried.

Food was good enough, but part of our order was not right, and the resolution was quite surprising to me. My son loves sushi, but in the rolls he prefers the soy sheet rather than the seaweed. Ordered with soy sheet, but got it with seaweed. He ate one piece and didn’t care for it (he ate the smoked salmon on top as well). The bill came and I suggested that perhaps the item we didn’t eat because they didn’t get it right should be taken off the bill. They refused to take it off our bill because we had a piece and some of the topping. I was stunned. Bill was $75. Sushi roll was $15. We eat out regularly too often really. It was our first time there and I was looking forward to trying all the different types of cuisine on offer. But after that, we won’t be back.
