After watching some of the dinner guests hit the buffet, we were ready to stay. We didn't have a reservation but we got a seat. Understand that 5 6:30 is prime time in this senior community. Overall the food was pretty good: salad, rolls, broccoli, garlic mashed potatoes, meatloaf and gravy; and it was reasonably priced. But the atmosphere made it. The views, the people all made for a marvelous evening!
OMG what can I say. The food here is awful. Granted they have just had a change in ownership, so a few things we tried to have from the menu were not available. We had the pizza and pasta and they were both BAD. The pizza may have been Boboli or similar with some kind of canned tomato paste and ground basil and the pasta was no better. Again some kind of canned sauce that hadn't even been doctored up very well. I wonder if the chef (ccok) had even bothered to taste his own menu. The last three time we have tried this place we have left very dissapointed. I will give it 1 star for the location. It is gorgeous.
The Nines is now called Sir Flairs, and is under new ownership, management, and has a new chef
Went here for a family party where we took up the whole banquet room. I ordered the salmon, which was pretty decent. However, the steak was really dry and didn't have much seasoning so it tasted basically like dry meat. The steamed vegetables tasted like something you get from the frozen section at the grocery store. My son had the chicken tenders and french fries and that seemed like a better choice over the steak. Not much to say about this place since I've only been here once and it was a prix fixe menu. The banquet was nice and had views of the golf course. Nice ambiance for its location and seems to be a nice place to hangout for the people that live in that area.
We had lunch here in May 2015 when we came out from Denver to look into buying a new home at Trilogy. The menu had a very good selection and we found the quality of the food to be very good. The service was good, and the prices very fair. I have read the other reviews, but compared to the food quality and prices in the Denver area this place should probably get a five.
