The restaurant at the Skjern Hotel was a nice experience. We visited the place for a special arrangement of seasonal wild food, and it was great. Their italian chef seems to put his mark on this place with a special character.
We had a very delightful evening in a very relaxed atmosphere with wonderful food. Everything is freshly made and the selection is both interesting and very tasty. I would go for the tasting menu to get the most of your evening. Service could have been a bit faster, but was very nice and the waiters were able to speak both German and English without any problems,
The food they serve in this Restaurant is very tasteful and the atmosfair is good. You feel welcome.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of Hotel Skjern, and with our stay in the hotel was included a three-course gourmet dinner in the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is modern and inviting. Although the tables are close to one another, there was still a feeling of privacy and cosiness. The first course was a chicken confitte served with Jerusalem artichokes prepared in two different ways, the second course was pork slowly cooked and served with seasonal vegetables, and for dessert, ice cream encrusted in a dark chocolate ball. The dishes were perfectly cooked and served beautifully. With the perfect service and ambience of the place, it was truly a great experience dining in this restaurant.
