Key To Riga

The worst eating experience I had in 5 years in Riga! A place to avoid if you want to eat something tasty at least warm. The rib -just 1 rib! One piece of bone! for which I did asked if that was the main course: ONE rib- was cold, tasteless, had lots of fat in the middle seen in the pict in the middle of the plate), the sauce had no taste the plate was full of sour cabbage potatoes. One of them had been cooked with the worm in it. Three persons we tried the hommus we didn't know what we were eating. When we asked what it was, they said it was made from beans but there was no taste of tahini, lemon, cumin or any taste that could have reminded us of hummus. They served the soup at the same time with the main course!!! The soup was salty. Within the beer plate the best was the black bread with garlic. On the plus side: two of my friends liked the salmon. We had a nice, helpful waitresses that is the reason from my side for the 2 stars as my food was disappointing waste of money. For Me, Lindo further down the street has better value for money much more tasty food!!!

KEY TO RĪGA is a tasty, decent restaurant at prime location, right at Doma laukums (Dome Square), Vecrīga, Rīgas stunning Old Town. If you want to have good lunch, dinner, drinks e. g. in a group or with friends, colleagues, this would be a recommendatio. It may appear a bit tourist style by design, but in fact it's a nice place to stay

Great Key To Riga burger, the crust is crunchy, the meat is juicy, fries are perfect, highly recommend this place, truly a heart of Riga when it comes to burgers.

Amazing pancakes and super pet friendly place! the staff went beyond and beyond to treat our little baby.

Very pleased to find this in the centre of Riga. The food was delicious and well presented, the staff was friendly and helpful, the decor was nice. The prices seemed good for the area. Would recommend.
