Gasthof Walde - Rifiano

The location is really spectacular as well as the possibility to move along some paths around or maybe stop here after a hike. We could appreciate not only the kitchen but also the kindness that is worth the road to get here. A great advice that had been given to us by our “hof” and that practically made us retain well beyond the end of the lunch, with some conversation grappino, ideal after having resumed the dessert.

Lovely place and great professionalism by the managers, courteous and helpful. Food is delicious and local production. We stayed in room #1, spacious, furnished with care and a fabulous view of the valley and the Sarentino Alps. It is a great starting point for many excursions and to live a holiday in contact with unspoilt nature. We highly recommend

First of all I chose this hotel at the last moment because I wanted to be near merano, and also the price was great. Positive aspects: superb panorama, modern and comfortable rooms, dining room and breakfast with fantastic panorama, simple but very tasty cuisine and advantageous price. Negative aspects: road to get there quite bruttina, but it is not some fault of the hotel, dinner at 18:30, a little too early for our habits, and drinks (not included in half board) rather expensive. In the Complex we were rather happy and we recommend it to those who go in the mountains to truly live the mountain. If you go there just to make the tub in the centre, you're very wrong. Small and cosy hotel with good food and with great price, with fantastic panorama just be careful of drinks and the road to get there and you will be satisfied

We were here for the second time. Very good food, portions sufficient. Everything freshly prepared, especially the Kaiserschmarren is fantastic.
