Zuegghuette - Avelengo

Sono stata in questo rifugio con la mia famiglia e abbiamo pranzato in una bellissima saletta in legno, ben arredata e molto confortevole. Tutto il cibo che abbiamo ordinato è stato molto apprezzato anche dai miei bambini (wurstel e brezel, salsiccia crauti e canaderlo, uova speck e patate, maccheroni alla pastora, pastina con wurstel). Porzioni abbondanti, servizio gentile e veloce, prezzo molto onesto. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

We went there with three adults and two kids. Staff was super nice and even brought us a high chair and set it up for our toddler. The place is very family friendly, there is a great playground attached to the restaurant(including a sandpit with some shade) and there are changing facilities too. Food came pretty fast and all three mains we tried were delicious and not overly salty like it often can be the case in these kinds of restaurants . We also had coffee and I tried the lemon cream sponge roll, which was also super tasty. Will definitely be back.

We waited significantly too long for our food. Food was simple and okay, not bad but also not great. Service was for this part of the mountains medium friendly. Maybe we were unlucky.

Our goal was to visit most popular places at Merano 2000. Very tasty and good presentation of food plate.
